? FAB Federation of Associations of Belgaum was formed on the 19th November 2002,with primary objective of enhancing utility value, improved coverage and to evoke spirited participant response to the programmes of common interest organised for the benefit of trade and industrial fraternity. All the association heads unanimously supported the idea and FAB came into existence. The associations/institutes in the conglomerate are IIF, BEMCIEL, BDPC, LUB, BMTC, BSSIA, BTICSM, EF, HSSIA, MSIA, IMER and KLE-Engg. College.
 
? Single Window Agency Association actively participates in all the Single Window Agency monthly meets. and take up the industrial problems with District commissioner

The BSSIA Communiqué It has been our silent endeavour for quite some time to publish a dedicated Newsletter to communicate gist of the important, small & tiny scale industry related events round the globe, to the members. The BSSIA Communiqué was successfully launched in the month of April 2002, and published bi-monthly..
 
? Memorandums Memorandums to various dignitaries were submitted by the association to highlight the problems faced by the industrial fraternity in and around Belgaum.
 
? Participation in Industrial tours, workshops, Trade fairs etc. The Association regularly takes the delegation to various Industrial tours, workshops, Trade fairs and visits to district/state Associations. COMING EVENTS:
 
? SCX The proposal for setting up Belgaum Sub Contracting Exchange (SCX) has been approved by the Ministry of SSI, Govt. of India, New Delhi. Detailed guidelines for the implementation of the Project have been sought from the ministry. A special meeting of the office bearers was called on to discuss the modus operandi for the implementation of the project.
 
? Programmes And Workshops: Important programmes/ workshops like quality management , ISO training, cost management ,Award programme , etc which will benefit and boost industrial activity in the industrial sector are held during the year.
 
? Training of Industrial Employee The Association has decided to form a committee to comprehensive feasibility study of the organising this programme and initiate necessary steps.
